Don't forget to inspect and clean your dryer filter and vent pipe for maximum efficiency! We even use a cloth dryer line in our backyard.
Take a look at your hot tap water - in many houses, the hot water tank is located in an out-of-the-way location like in the garage. Every time you open the hot water faucet, the hot water starts flowing in the pipe, but unfortunately, many times you're done washing before the hot water reaches your hands (that's 100% waste of energy).

Ways to Lower Your Energy Bill
Look at times when electricity are cheapest.
1. Utilize Natural Light
2. Turn Off Lights and Electronics When You Aren’t Using Them
3. Replace Traditional Light Bulbs with LED's and LED's don't generate any heat.
4. Get a Smart Thermostat and service your AC!!!!
5. Ensure Your Home is Properly Insulated
6. Put Decorative Lights on a Timer
7. Identify and Unplug Energy Vampires
8. Reduce Appliance Use
9. Use Less Hot Water and maybe even lower the hot water temperature.
10. Download your power company's app to see your 24 hour power use.
11. Use clothes dryer line if possible, that's a big energy saver.
12. Always make sure your dishwasher is fully loaded when running, never run 1/2
Consider not heat drying your dishes, heat drying uses a lot of electricity.
13. Inspect and/or replace AC air return filters, good airflow is very important.
